Wall Mount Cd Player

When We Built Our Home 4 Years Ago,we Had Them Install A Radio/cd Player That Is Attached To The Wall In Our Kitchen.The Sound Is "pumped" Into Different Rooms Via Ceiling Speakers.Well,now That The Cd Player Has Quit And The Door Has Partially Ripped Off We Want To Replace It With A Different System (maybe One That Would Also Support An IPOD) But With What?I Can't Seem To Find A Replacement And I'm Not Sure What To Look For....I Think It Would Have To Be Something With External Speaker Hook Ups For The Speaker Wires.....right?
